First I attended joint therapy class where everything was explained, went home happier.
The day of the operation was not one of my better days (terrified). Mr Parker came to say what the operation was all about then the anaesthetist told me how an epidural works. Not over-impressed but went ahead.
Never before have I been so relieved. I would like to thank everyone involved from Mr Parker down to the lady who cleaned my room.
I came home on 5th day and on the 6th day met my home therapist, who put me through my exercises. A little painful but worth every moment, great lady. So once again a big thank you to all not forgetting the wonderful staff ward 8a.
"Thank you for my total knee replacement"
