In part time care everything was excellent at Mount Gould - Plymouth, Rehab Feb-march 2012.
But there was a huge gaf in after-care, and I waited 11 weeks for physio. I was advised to not to attempt large number of steps at home.
I was a prisoner in my own home, and I engaged a private physio to assess me on steps. Only after submitting a complaint did I get any NHS physio. This in any case was crucial as I have a co-existing spinal problems with left sided weakness and knee replacement at time of complaint 2 months previous.
Have since received excellent physio, but I feel I have had an ongoing lack of physio in the community, both following my spinal surgery in 2011 and following knee surgery this year.
This process makes a nonsense of the excellent part time physio.
"annoyed about lack of access to physio services"
