I was taken into Nottingham City Hospital A&E by ambulance after having a blood infection. The ambulance crew were very professional, as were the medical staff at the hospital.
The cleanliness of the wards was not great - there was lots of dust and assorted debris under the beds.
Also, mixed sex wards are not a good idea - one "wandering biddie" was making amorous advances to males, and repeatedly woke up and distressed one very poorly man.
"Good care but poor cleanliness at NCH"
