"High praise for my care for a malignant colonic tumour"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was referred by my GP for a colonoscopy within 2 weeks of my reporting symptoms. I was scheduled for a resection of the colon to remove the tumour.

The service was absolutely excellent. I was kept informed at all stages of the process and was discharged within 4 days of my operation which was done laparoscopically.

The attention and standard of care was extremely high at all stages of the process.
