I wanted to lose some unwanted kilograms. I am aware of my weak points, such as chocolate and nice cakes. However, I tried to blame my age and thus metabolism slowing down, etc. My doctor referred me to the Healthy Life Styles. I was very unconvinced when I attended the first appointment with Lee. I cancelled the second appointment but Lee was so positive and non judgemental. He had even waited for me as I had arrived late. Not even one negative comment. He gave me some charts, regarding my eating habits and activities to fill in. The activities chart has proved that I am a physically active person but eating habits (I have noticed) need to be changed slightly. I was going swimming but Lee encouraged me to try the gym classes. Within 5 months I have lost 5 kilograms of my weight but more importantly I feel better. My mood has improved, I do not feel as tired or stressed so easily as to prior me changing my lifestyle into a healthier one. I would recommend the Healthy Lifestyles for all those who need some support in believing that they do not need to make a great effort to be healthier and feel better.
