"Very good care pleasant friendly team"

What I liked

The ward haldane was very good, large yes but airy light and very comfortable beds. The nurses were extremely helpful and pleasant and it seemed everyone was well cared for. Food very good and served with a smile.

The department that dealt with me had a very lovely lady gynaecologist I think a junior ...she was helpful in discussing all my problems and my thoughts and fears about things and procedures. I was very impressed with her level of care in discussing my issues. I can't speak highly enough of her manner and way of dealing with me, if all doctors were like this I would not be so fearful of hospitals. Also one of the senior gynaecologists was clear in diagnosis and happy to discuss any question I was asked. They also were pleasant and nice in dealing with me. Very pleasant team to deal with especially for something that was for me uncomfortable and scary.

What could be improved

I think that possibly the only thing I could say is if I were in for a long time I would like a tv at my bed but that's just a nice thought. Nothing bad on ward or In department. The usual nhs waiting for things like scans etc is slow but that is the same in all hospitals.....

Anything else?

Nurses should be paid a lot more when they do such a good job as I saw them do and with a smile on their faces too! I was impressed.
