What I liked
My first baby was born in March in the birth centre at Birmingham Women's Hospital. I cannot fault the care I received - we had a wonderful, almost painless water birth and my birth plan was followed to the letter (and in the few instances where it couldn't be followed, the reasons were explained wonderfully clearly and I was totally happy with the change). I had to be induced which I had been very anxious about, but that was also a good experience and I was still able to use the birth centre and pool. Lovely staff and great care - I can't thank the hospital enough.
What could be improved
My room after the birth was a bit hot and a couple of doctors were a bit brusque - otherwise it was perfect.
"Amazing care and lovely birth - thank you."
