What I liked
I would like say a big thank you to all the staff at Macclesfield hospital. I have had occasion to be treated at this hospital a number of times and cannot praise the staff enough for their hard work and level of care they have shown.
What could be improved
Whilst staying on a ward, a male patient (who I believe was suffering with Alzheimer's) wandered into the female ward where I was, and sat down on a couple of occasions. The nurses did try to coax him back, however, he was quite difficult to handle. On one occasion he actually got into the bed of an elderly lady who was at the time sat in her chair, before the nurses came to collect him. In view of the fact that I was in hospital after having breast surgery, I felt rather vulnerable and uncomfortable when this happened.
"Excellent care from the staff."
