"Not a pleasant experience at Pontefract"

An elderly family member was recently hospitalised for 3 weeks, during which time they had a chest infection which was so bad they were vomitting when coughing. They were escorted to the toilet but began to vomit and were left alone by a nurse who said: "I can't listen to that, it makes me want to be sick."

The cleaner never asked for the bed table to be emptied before she wiped it.

Over the space of 24hrs my relative was moved twice from one ward to another, then back to the same ward. All in all, it was not a pleasant experience for my relative.
