What I liked
I was admitted for a repair to an Inguinal Hernia in the Day-Care dept. It really is an exceptionally nice little hospital - which I didn't even know existed! The place was spotlessly clean, the doctors couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, ditto the nursing and reception staff. All in all, it would be very difficult to find any fault at all with the treatment I received. I shall certainly recommend the hospital to anyone else needing treatment. Even the date of my operation was only 1 day later than I had said I was available from.
By the way, there doesn't seem to be the option of selecting Day-Care in the 'Service/Dept you visited' box above. Does a hernia qualify as a 'minor injury'?
What could be improved
Only one small thing. I travelled to Melton on the Rutland Flyer bus from Uppingham/Oakham, and the map provided could have been a bit clearer; in particular, it would help to label the bus station (and, perhaps, the railway station as well), and to give the distance to the hospital for anyone who is contemplating walking. I made it in about 8 minutes, but wasn't hurrying because I had plenty of time.
Anything else?
Nothing else really.
"Faultless!"
