What could be improved

Waiting 1 hour 10 minutes late for an appointment in Outpatients for an 84 year old was not good enough.

Having to put extra time on the car was not good enough

Being greeted by the Consultant with (to the 84 year old) "You have got Cancer" is not good bedside practice. This was close to abominable.

Asking an 84 year old to decide there and then on treatment when she is in a care home with dementia is not good.

He also answered his mobile whilst giving her the news of her cancer diagnosis.
