What I liked

My 18 year old son has just undergone a heart valve replacement - the hospital, from the surgeon, anaesthetist through to the ICU staff and the ward staff have been exceptional. Treating my son with care and dignity at all times and always keeping us fully informed of his treatment

I would recommend this hospital to anyone as it has a wonderful culture of care and respect

A special mention for one member of staff in cardiac liaison - this lady clearly approaches her job as a way of life rather than a role - she comes across as someone who cares deeply for her patients and their welfare and really helps put worried parents and patients at ease
