"Reasonable time to have to wait for treatment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I waited just over 3 months for an ophthalmology appt. As my problem was a nuisance value rather than an urgent operation. I suppose this was a reasonable time to have to wait for treatment.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback following your experience using TRAQS.

TRAQS offers patients a Choice of hospitals but sometimes there are longer waits for appointments at local hospitals due to a higher volume of referrals than available appointments. If patients are willing to travel further for treatment we are often able to offer a quicker appointment outside the local area but we do realise that this is not an option for all patients.

Thank you for your feedback which will help us to develop the TRAQS service further, all feedback is important to us and is very much appreciated by the TRAQS team.
