"Trouble getting physio appointments"

I have severe back pain for months, I contacted my doctor who gave me pain killers. I went back few weeks later with same problem and they referred me. I got no response after referral, so I chased up only to find out that referral was not completed. I explained that I need immediate assistance, so GP referred me again. finally I got a call few days later asking me to book an appointment with physiotherapist. However they don't have any slots for month..... ( Come on I have been suffering with this pain for months now, and I have to wait another month just to see a physio ).

I am astonished at the lack help from staff from my GP who know that I have major problem and it had badly degraded my quality of life. I have to take pain killers twice a day to get through the day, but apparently it is not bad enough..... Really astonished and disappointed.
