"Thank you for care after surgery, though ward was noisy at night"

About: Rotherham Hospital

(as the patient),

I have just been discharged from ward B11 after major surgery. I have only praise for the treatment I received whilst there. The good was good, the staff were attentive and my only concern or criticism would be that night staff need to talk with less volume and that patients should not be allowed to bring in mobile phones. One patient who understood English very well continually used her phone both messaging and receiving calls. She was told on numerous occasions that phones were not allowed, but still she used it. Very annoying.

Thank you for posting your comments.

We are glad that you were pleased with the care you received. We will pass on your concerns regarding noise at night and the issue of mobile phones and try to ensure that we reduce the occurence of this in the future.
