My daughter had breast surgery recently, I was so surprised that she was sent home after just 2 days, her husband had had a lot of time off work because of her Chemo so he needed to get back to work.
The district nurse was supposed to come in to deal with her drains daily, we saw a nurse just once and my daughter had to empty her drains herself and ring the district nurse to report to her the amount she had measured from the drains.
If it was not for all of the family doing 2 hour shifts to take care of her I do not know what would have happened to her. One part of the family came up from Plymouth to help.
