My little boy was 5 when he started to experience terrible anxiety. I had never experienced anything like this with my other child and he was only 5 years old.
The wonderful school nurses at Renfrew health centre changed my son's life and he is now a happy confident 7 year old.
He went to weekly sessions run by the school nurses and homelink services at his school. They taught him coping mechanisms to deal with his anxiety. My little boy started to change almost straight away, he attended this group for two years. I can't thank these nurses and linkworkers enough. I don't know what my son would be like today if he hadn't got help for his anxiety from these wonderful nurses at Renfrew health centre.
