"I have experienced inadequate care"

About: NHS England

(as the patient),

I have had numerous experiences of poor quality care provided by the NHS on numerous occasions which mirror your experience. My patient notes include inaccuracies and outright lies. Any organisation is a collection of individuals, yet I would expect there to be some kind of control implemented over the additions to patient notes. At least a patients signature which denotes that the 'patient' agrees to the accuracy of the notes and is able to add comments to them where required.

There are certain negative attitudes that seem to me to be prevalent in the NHS. The NHS can be relied on most of the time to save your life. If you are lucky and the right staff are on duty then you have a pretty good chance of surviving the most life threatening of issues.

I have found that it is as if you are being 'given charity' when you request treatment which you would expect to be standard practice in the NHS.

I have been the victim of and witnessed several horror stories which are hard to believe and indicate the 'demise of the NHS' as we know it.

Personally I have had lies entered in my notes and am very unhappy about the way in which the NHS have helped me in the past resulting in multiple unresolved health issues preventing me from working and contributing to the economy as I would like. As a result I am now disabled and will be a burden on society due to poor care.
