"Angry and hurt about care of my mother"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Urology( Ward 70)

(as a relative),

My mother was in ward 39. She had a UTI, doctors sent her home with UTI. She was admitted two days later, then I found out UTI went secondary and damaged her kidneys - the hospital consultant never told me this. She was discharged with a letter from renal, I asked my GP and they told me kidneys were damaged.

I am extremely angry and hurt, I feel the doctor was dishonest. I asked for updates during her stay and was told everything was fine, and yet discharge note said different.
