"Need clear information for appointments"

About: Crawley Hospital

(as the patient),

Good Morning.

I received a letter confirming an appointment at Crawley Hospital saying to attend Green Ward Outpatients 1 Ground Floor - which we attended.

You might understand that in time of stress and concern every piece of paper might not be read - the appointment was for the first floor! The information saying this was on a different slip of paper.

If only the appointment letter had said clearly to read accompanying information, it would have saved some stress and avoided me being late.

A small comment I know - otherwise excellent service.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that there was some confusion over the location of your appointment. Our aim is to give patients all the information they need for their appointment, and I agree it might cause some confusion if it is not all on the same piece of paper. I will pass your comment on to the relevant department to see if we can improve this system.

I am pleased you found all other aspects of your visit excellent.
