What I liked

The junior doctor and their supervisor were both incredibly friendly. They very much sympathised with my condition and did all they could to understand my circumstances, assess my state and prescribe medication and other treatments to help. The junior doctor was confident and, given the second opinion provided by their supervisor, I was fully convinced by their diagnosis.

The hospital was clean and calm, though I was visiting at 5am on a Friday morning.

The nurse who assessed me first happily offer me more Ibuprofen free-of-charge for my pain.

My medicine was delivered very quickly and it was explained to me how I should follow-up my visit there.

What could be improved

While the car park charges are reasonable by hospital standards, compared to other health centres, it's mean to expect people in dire pain to have not only have gone to a cash point but also to have exchanged notes for change before arriving, especially at that time of the morning. Having only a £10 note, a security (or similar) man advised me that I would have to go elsewhere to get change in order to pay for the car park (which was empty anyway).

The receptionist who I spoke to was rude, despite having been very chirpy with their colleagues.

Anything else?

I visited at a typically dead time, and obviously can't surmise if the service is equally good on Friday and Saturday nights.
