"Partner went in to be induced as she was well..."

What could be improved
Partner went in to be induced as she was well overdue with our first child.
Upon arriving, she was monitored for 30 mins, and then given the first induction drug. She quickly reacted badly to this, feeling violently ill - and at one point left the room to ask for help from the midwife chatting behind the desk directly opposite her door. Despite this, it took a staggering five hours for anyone to check on her observations and indeed, for anyone to enter her room.
I then left the hospital for 30 minutes, and upon my return find that a Consultant has forced my partner to have her waters ruptured when she was not in a position to provide informed consent and as her NOK I was not asked permission.
She was taken to a delivery suite, where she was given drugs to strengthen her contractions so that they were more effective - however, these distressed baby further to the extent that she was then given a drug to slow contractions and then an emergency cesarean section in the early hours.
Thankfully, Child was born safely.
Just over 24 hours later, and she was finally moved from the High Dependancy Unit to the general Post Natal ward where she was left in such pain that she rang me just before midnight in agony, claiming she'd been given nothing but Paracetamol for her operation wound. Due to the pain she was in, she was unable to care for baby entirely, and was receiving no assistance from staff.
Disgusting care, disgusting attitudes and a nursing staff that just couldn't give a damn.
