"It was okay."

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

What I liked

As this was my first visit to this department after moving counties I didn't know what to expect from this hospital. The department was easy to find and signposted throughout.

What could be improved

I waited almost up to 1hr 30mins to be seen for my appointment, which lasted only 10mins in total. There was hardly any toys or some kind of play area for children, making the wait seem much more longer. The staff did not keep me updated only once, at the very end. Funny how they didn't have automatic doors, seeing that it was a maternity department where most people have buggies, making it a struggle to manage door and buggy together.

Anything else?

I'm not sure how the rest of my appointments will go, I can only hope better and that I have a better experience with my second child.
