"Good care but ward needs improvement at Nottingham City Hospital"

I was a patient at Nottingham City Hospital Harvey ward 2.

The personal care and treatment given to me by the nurses was very good. My case was also efficiently handled by the pre-operation staff.

However, the beds on the ward were too close together, causing the following problems:

1) Upsetting to be given diagnoses by doctors, while patients and visitors can hear every word.

2)Difficult to sleep when next bed is occupied by someone who is noisy or active.

3)Stressful if next bed is occupied by troublesome or complaining patient.
