What I liked
staff were efficient and friendly
What could be improved
after care was horrendous my daughter gave birth at around 2am i left the hospital at 3.30 my daughter text me at 7.30am to say no one had been in since shed had to change her own bed as the midwifes was in with another patient we appreciate it was an emergency but someone should have been available to at least check she was ok and hadnt passed out or anything
i rang immediatly to see how she is and the midwife who answered told me she was fine i asked her to check for me she left the phone and came back on minutes later and said shed checked and was fine i then text my daughter and no one had been in so the midwife had blatantly lied
however ten minutes later my daughter messaged me o say someone had popped there head in
Anything else?
Apart from the midwife on the phone who lied the staff where great just obviously understaffed the aftercare was abysmal
"shortstaffed leading to appalling aftercare"
