"I wish the rest of the NHS could work as well as..."

What I liked

I visited the Endoscopy Unit in August. The area was very clean and welcoming. The nursing staff were kind and helpful and I was even wished a "happy birthday for tomorrow" by the nurse that checked me in (it was the day before my 84th birthday!) I have had this procedure done at a private establishment previously and the level of care and kindness was surpassed by the staff at Kent and Canterbury. The unit was clearly very busy but I was treated with dignity and respect at all times, nothing was too much trouble.

What could be improved

The staff were excellent. The NHS needs to invest more in this service as it is clearly very busy.
