I was very pleased with the care from Emergency Admissions to Surgery at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. However, I was disappointed that no doctor spoke to me after my surgery to say how things went.
I understand why patients are sent out so quickly and was glad to get home, but as a lady of nearly 70 i would have appreciated another couple of hours to recover. It rather worried my husband when I spent the afternoon and evening feeling giddy and being sick. This obviously passed and I was OK.
Cathy, the Nurse Practitioner, rang me the next morning and it was most reassuring to receive her comments.
"Very good care from Queen's Medical Centre"
