"Upsetting care at Barnsley district hospital ward 19"

About: Barnsley Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I had the most horrendous experience in ward 19.

I was left waiting for intravenous antibiotics for hours on two separate days. Yet the nurse said I had had them! This is a dementia ward, I was there with pneumonia.

The nurses did not think I deserved their time because I am not old or infirm. I also fell and cut my head. The nurse left me on a chair in soaking clothes, basically saying I had done it on purpose and I was an attention seeker.
