"I could not have asked for better care"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I went into the New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow in August to have a mastectomy on my right breast plus a few lymph nodes removed. I was very fearful and full of apprehension.

I need not have been though, from the moment I walked into the Hospital until the day I left, I was treated with the utmost care and respect. From the person who met me at the front and gave me directions, all those who were responsible for my surgery to the nurses who cared for me, I could not have asked for better care--even if I was private.

I will not forget what was done for me at a very difficult time and my family would not hesitate to recommend each and everyone of the staff, to anyone who has to attend New Victoria Hospital. I just can't put into words what I feel, but I can say thank you.

P. S. don't forget about the lady cleaner who came in to my room everyday with a cheery smile and a happy face. xx
