I was admitted to ward 6 of the Doncaster Royal Infirmary with an infected knee. The nurses were really helpful and friendly. The food was terrible, but I was fortunate enough to have food brought in for me instead. However, there were a number of people who were visibly distressed at the standard of the hospital food. I often thought that I could've given the doctors information that would've helped, but they seemed to ignore a lot of my suggestions.
