"More professionalism needed at Doncaster Royal Infirmary"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was a patient at the opthalmology department of the Doncaster Royal Infirmary. In my opinion, nurses should not chew gum when dealing with patients. Also, Doctors should not only have patients' notes available, but should also at least have given a cursory glance to them before calling the patient in. I had to give the doctors my case history on more than one occasion while I waited for reports of my tests to be found.

Finally, i do not like it when people I do not know use my christian name without permission. I would prefer a more disciplined and professional approach from everyone concerned.
