What I liked

On the day of my surgery 22-08-2012 I was in for a total hip replacement I was made to feel totally cared for and at ease, the doctor and his surgical team where great and the song in the back ground I will never forget.

Nursing staff on Hasland ward could see I was comfortable at all times thankyou to everyone including doctors, nurses, carers and drinks trolley personel not forgetting the cleaners.

I am returning in 6 weeks for my post opp appointment up to now so far so good,

Hi Jenny - Thanks for the comments. I'm delighted to hear all went well for you and I hope you continue to make a good recovery. My Mum has just had the same operation and eight weeks on has just been on a day trip and completed an 8 mile walk around York. I hope that spurs you on!
