What I liked
My mother-in-law suffered a stroke from which she did not recover.
My wife contact 999 and the rapid response team and ambulance were at our house within 5 minutes.
Margaret Nolan (mother-in-law) was eventually transferred to Ward 6A at Leighton Hospital.
From the initial 999 call to her eventual death 13 days later, all the staff were very professional and conscientious in dealing with both Margaret and her family.
This was not an easy time for us, but Leighton were excellent, dealing with all family members with consummate ease.
The level of care extended to us by all staff at Leighton was first class. The facilities at our disposal could not be faulted.
I would not hesitate in recommending Leighton Hospital.
Regards,
Roland Finney.
What could be improved
Possibly the seating for those of us staying for a long period caring for a dying relative.
"Excellent, relaxed, informative and conscientious..."
