What I liked

Staff effecient and mostly friendly.

What could be improved

4 hour wait on a mid week afternoon!!

No clocks in minor injury waiting area so had no idea of time passing - is this delibirate?

Hot drinks machine out of order and cold drinks vending machine virtually empty.

No cold water drinking faciliies - so 4 hrs without a druink as I had no chnage for the vending machine.

No effort to update patients in waiting area - only a loop on the wall mounted TV which stated that the wait was 3 - 3.5 hrs. so if not sitting in front of the TV patients unaware of potential time to wait. A white board for this purpose could at least be made more visible and updated by the department. on a regular basis.

insufficent seats bearing in mind that most patients attend with a relative/ friend - only 36 seats in waiting room in total - insufficent for a busy inner city hospital minor injuries unit.
