I was a patient on the outpatients ward of the Barnsley District General Hospital with bowel problems. The standard of medical and nursing care which I received there was very good - I was made to feel at ease by the staff, and I wasn't made to feel embarrassed at all. The only thing that could have been better was the length of time spent in the waiting area, which I felt was a little too long.
