"Signposting"

Today we went to the Children's Hearing Clinic at Northampton General.

We were told in our letter to go to area K.

On arrival we parked in the first car park we came to which was conveniently next to the Main Entrance.

When we looked at the map of the hospital ssite, which is vast, we found we had parked in the wrong car park and faced a lengthy walk to the correct place. We did not find the signs helpful and had to ask a hospital porter where to go. If only we had been supplied with a map with the letter we would have parked in the right place.

Added to this was the fact that people were driving far too fast through the hospital grounds and did not seem to want to give way to pedestrians.
