"labral tear in lining of hip joint and bone growth"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

(as the patient),

My name is Jeanette leib, I am 37yrs, live in portsmouth. I have always had hip problems since the age of 18, back then I used to do alot of walking and pot holing, it would come and go it would feel like I had a knitting needle stuck in my hip. After a few days it would settle until the next time I went walking. 2007 I fell outside my mums back door right on my right side which happens to be my worst hip, and since then the pain has been constant. I was on strong pain killers for a while, tried a tens machine for two years, have come off that now last month. Using magnets now, they help no where near enough.

Recently had MRI quite clearly a tear in the lining and extra bone growth where its rubbing. Told that its repairable

But not funded by the NHS, I have come so far not knowing what has been wrong and told theres nothing wrong with you, your going to have to live with it. And now I know only now the NHS won't fund it. To go private I have been told 7000 per hip. My family and I dont have that kind of money. I need some guidance as to who will help me.

Thank you for reading this.
