"Urgency criteria at Whitegate Drive walk in centre"

About: Blackpool PCT

(as the patient),

I needed to see a doctor to get antibiotics for what I believed was a throat infection. I re-arranged my shifts to go into work late (4hrs) and went to my local walk-in centre.

After two hrs watching lots of mums and babies arrive after me and leave before me, I had to catch a taxi to work with no consultation.

I just wonder what criteria would get me seen by a doctor? I have no issue with urgent cases being seen before me but surely it's in the NHS interest to get tax-paying patients back to work asap?
