I am 83 years old, and have been treated several times at East Surrey Hospital. Today I had an endoscopy, and met with the same kindness, humour and care that has been shown by the doctors and nurses on every other occasion. They had to be patient with me because I made a slight error with the fasting, yet they still made time for the procedure later on the same day. In January 2012 I had a hernia operation, and when I came round the surgeon said: 'I fixed your haemorrhoids at the same time! ' I am very grateful for this lovely hospital and the medical staff.
