"ECG at my local surgery"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I had an ECG at my local surgery. I went to see my doctor the next day about a different matter. He looked at my results and explained that he was going to refer me. He gave me a Traqs leaflet and explained someone would contact me in the next five days.

Someone phoned and offered me Bridgenorth for my appointment. I asked if I could have PRH, as I do not drive, as it is closer. She said that if I didn't take Bridgenorth I'd have to go the back of the queue again so I took the Bridgenorth appointment.

Thank you for your feedback, TRAQS is responsible for helping Telford and Wrekin patients book their appointment, we advise patients on waiting times and the availability of appointments at other hospitals. If there are no appointments at the PRH that we can see we will advise alternative hospitals but it is your choice to choose whether you are prepared to go elsewhere or if you would like to stay local and wait until the hospital have an available appointment, TRAQs are unable to tell you when this would be as this would come direct from the hospital.

If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

kind regards,

Sharon Clennell
