Had an appointment with one of team. They had not read my notes beforehand so knew nothing of me. While they were questioning me in a very disinterested, mechanical way they were also reading my notes so I had to keep repeating myself.
When I became distressed they appeared totally unconcerned. I was sent back to waiting room while they conferred with head psychiatrist, I was by this point sobbing uncontrollably. I was left in this state alone in the waiting room, for 10 minutes then called back in.
No-one appeared to care about me, there was no warmth or empathy shown and I was left to leave the building still distressed. To be honest I could have killed myself I felt that bad. I have since rang and requested I do not have this doctor again.
