I am not entirely sure which health care experience this refers to but I am assuming it is relevant to a recent visit to the GP in Wreking with my mother. At this appointment the GP was checking various things that had been put in place re my mother’s health: - gastro investigations, a referral to the renal clinic and an adult mental health assessment. The GP suggested a CT scan following on from camera investigations of the stomarch, colon and bowel. She was also arranging a referral to the renal clinic.
This from was received re the booking of a scan. A letter arrived approx two weeks after the appointment arranging a scan for the end of August. Subsequently she also was asked to see the consultant who said a scan was not necessary – I gave him the letter with the time of the appointment and he said he would cancel it.
No referral to the renal clinic had yet been received but the service re CT scan of gastro was very good.
However, since it is not wholly clear which area of care my mother’s TRAQS letter is referring to I cannot be more specific. There is a lot going on with her health issues at the moment.
"service re CT scan was very good"
