What I liked
My seven-year-old son fell from a climbing frame and broke his arm. We took him to Pinderfields Hospital Accident and Emergency department. I cannot find enough praise for the whole process. Right from the start - from booking in, through to x-ray, and then back to childrens' A & E - both he and we (his mother and father) were treated with care and diligence throughout. The nurse-practitioner (I wish I could remember his name, but he was on duty on an afternoon in August 2012) was absolutely brilliant! He even booked a follow-up appointment at our local hospital (Milton Keynes) which is 150 miles away. All the staff that dealt with us deserve a thorough pat on the back. They were eminently professional, genuinely caring, and - the icing on the cake - really nice people. In short - exemplars for all to follow.
What could be improved
I really can't think of anything. It was a deeply satisfying experience.
