I was a patient at Day Surgery in the Nottingham Queen's Medical Centre for the treatment of trigger finger. I was impressed with the clean facilities, and also with the dialogue with Professor Davies during the actual operation.
However, less impressive was the time waiting for the operation (4 hours!) and having to pay £5 for the privilege of parking in the hospital car park.
Whilst the operation itself was good, the organisation and administration could surely be improved.
"Good medical care but poor organsiation at QMC Day Surgery"
