What I liked
There were a few nice members of staff, and the hospital was relatively clean.
What could be improved
I had too many problems, I've wrote this out 5 times, but i can't describe how bad it is with the amount of words i can type. So i'll list them.
- Waking up from the anaesthetic, no one told me what i could/couldn't do, had to ring the bell two hours later to ask if i could drink/eat.
- I mentioned not being given dinner, and they told me that i had declined it, when i wasn't offered. Lying to cover their own back. On top of that they tried to make me feel uncomfortable and guilty.
- Took too long for them to respond to bells, sometimes 10 minutes plus, on one occasion, i had to get out of my own bed to alert a member of staff about an elderly patient leaving her bed during a blood transfusion. 10 minutes i waited after ringing the bell, after i got reception, i was still waiting for them to talk to me. By the time i did, the lady had fell over and luckily she landed on my bed.
-I felt very unwell/hot during the night, no fans left of course.
**I would definitely not recommend!!**
Anything else?
Worst night of my life. Never again!
"Terrible"
