What I liked

Thank you for a very good experience today with my surgery carried out by a specialist eye nurse.

The nurse who received me at reception was friendly and put me at my ease she took my medical history and blood pressure before taking me to the specialist nurse.

After a short wait the specialist ophthalmic nurse introduced himself and put me at my ease and explained how he would treat me. The treatment was exactly as he had explained. He was both friendly and professional and i feel that I could not have had better treatment.

I can not commend this specialist nurse highly enough for his friendly and professional service.

I have been delighted with my experience today and would like to thank all the staff in the hospital.

What could be improved

I did receive an automated telephone call asking me to confirm my appointment before receiving my appointment in the post. I also received a duplicate appointment notice which was unnecessary. Please accept this as constructive comment.
