In December of last year, I was a patient in Lister 2 of the Nottingham City hospital, as I needed a hip replacement. To be honest, I was more than a little apprehensive prior to my visit, particularly with regard to the standard of personal care, hygiene, and the quality of the food. However, these worries were allayed upon my arrival: both the medical and nursing care were excellent; the cleanliness of the hospital was very good (with clean bedding and towels provided daily); and even the food was good, certainly much better than it has been at times. There was very good evidence of people working together - thanks to Mr James and his team in particular.
I would thoroughly recommend the City Hospital for any orthopaedic treatment.
