"Disappointing and upsetting."

About: Ealing Hospital

What I liked

The doctor I saw first was lovely, very friendly and tried to put me at my ease.

What could be improved

The second person I saw, a nurse or doctor I don't know as she didn't bother to introduce herself was nothing short of rude and dismissive. I was at week 7 of my first pregnancy and had started bleeding. She showed no sympathy or empathy. She should have referred me to the Early Pregnancy Unit as my GP told me a few days later but she didn't. When she did my pregnancy test which was now negative she did nothing to help me clam down or advise me she just said "the bleeding could be a sign my pregnancy was unravelling." Whilst I fully appreciate there are many people to see I wasn't there because my GP surgery was closed for the weekend, like mos people there, but because I was in pain, bleeding and needed help. I left there feeling more upset and confused than when I went in and with no idea what would happen next or what to do.

Anything else?

I'm pregnant again and I won't be going back there, although I wasn't there for maternity the whole experience has made me not trust the hospital.
