On the day of surgery I was in a waiting area with 7 other patients , there was no thought that I may not want everyone else knowing why I was there or what procedure I was having the surgeon talked to all his patients in the waiting area.......no confidentiality at all ! My impression was this is normal practice. We were al expected to change into our gowns and sit in the waiting area until we were collected for theatre the strangest experience of my life and not one I will be repeating.

Following my surgery my ward experience was dire , communication was dreadful no one seemed to know what they were doing the majority of nurses were agency . I had to wait for hours for pain relief. Due to problems I had to remain in hospital for 3 days at one point I waited for 12 hours to see a doctor , my mother even called and complained to the nurse in charge but it made little difference.

I will never use this hospital again and would certainly not recommend it .
