What I liked

I had a small op done yesterday and wanted to put my comments on here for anyone that has concerns or are worried about coming in to the day care gynae ward as I was. From arrival I was greeted by a lovely nurse who explained everything to me followed by doctors and nurses who kept me informed of every aspect of the day. My gynaecologist and colleagues were outstanding and every nurse I came into contact with was kind, considerate, helpful and above all professional. Nothing was too much trouble for these little angels! The hospital was clean and tidy and the ward, bathroom and other areas was also very clean. My whole experience of the day made me feel relaxed and comfortable. After my op I was constantly being monitored, blood pressure taken regularly and asked if I was in any pain. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their commitment which made my recovery a very speedy one.

What could be improved

I would not improve on anything as it was perfect.

Anything else?

I cannot comment on the food as I was only a day case and food is booked in advance but talking to other patients the food seemed to be good with a good menu selection. However the sandwiches and cups of tea went down a treat.
